Opportunity to participate in the Nordic Youth Summit on Gender Equality
The Danish Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers and UN Women’s Nordic office will be holding a Nordic Youth Summit on Gender Equality in the UN City in Copenhagen 4-5 November.
Some of the individuals/accounts who have been particularly significant for the campaign will be selected to attend the Summit.
Young people from all of the Nordic countries will gather to discuss how gender equality policies should be formulated in the future in order for us to achieve gender equality. The Nordic Ministers for Gender Equality will attend with the idea of shaping policy together with young activists.
During the Summit, posts from the campaign #GenerationEqualityNordic will be highlighted, to then become part of the global conversation and policy efforts. UN Women is celebrating 25 years since the Beijing Platform for Action throughout the year and through various events.
